Today 3rd October, 2017, the IGP through the Chief Staff Officer called the Coordinating Secretary to brief him on the report.
Summary of the report is that, the police first of all appreciate the right steps taken by the leadership of the union by petitioning the IGP on such matter.
The leadership of the Ghana Police Service has actually engaged the officers who were involved in the brutalities and some are duly transferred.
That the police shall always insist on Professionalism in their operations.
The full report is a seven page document and shall be presented to the union in due course.
