The Technical University Administrators Association of Ghana (TUSAAG) has declared an Indefinite Strike to join the industrial strike action of the Technical Universities Teachers Association of Ghana (TUTAG), this action came after they gave government Friday October 18 to address their concerns.
In a letter signed by the General Secretary ISSAHAKU IBRAHIM have directed all members to stay away from work until further notice
below is the letter:

Declaration of a Strike
With reference to our letter dated 8th October, 2019, we the members of the Technical Universities Administrators’ Association of Ghana (TUAAG) have declared an Indefinite Strike.
It would be recalled that we gave all stakeholders notice of our intention to go on strike if issues raised were not attended to by close of work, 18th October, 2019.
The reasons for our action are the failure on the part of government to adhere to the following:
- The Placement of our members (Senior Staff and Senior Members in Administration) on the appropriate Base Pay as it applies to the respective Job Grades in the Public Universities
- Interim Arrangement Factor as it relates to the various Job Grades and
- Allowances as it relates to the various categories of staff per the existing Controller and Accountant General Payroll Allowances for the Public Universities
We are by this letter directing all our members to stay away from work until further notice.
