The Technical University Teachers Association (TUTAG) called off its three-week-old strike on last week Monday after meeting with the National Labour Commission and other stakeholders.
TUTAG’s industrial action left thousands of students in the eight technical universities stranded.
After almost a week of calling off the strike, DeInsider.com visit some classrooms last week but is seems lecturers have empty classrooms to teach.
Most of the students who left for home are yet to return to campus after the suspension of the strike action by TUTAG and TUAAG.
Our expectations are that students will have returned over the weekend and serious academic work will start tomorrow Monday 4th November
