The Semester is coming to an end before 25th December.
The academic calendar for the semester of this institution, KTU to be precise has been drawn especially for the regular students. Some of us don’t even know there is something called end of semester examination especially the freshers, simply because they didn’t attend the matriculation which was used as an avenue to usher them into this noble institution not to talk of the orientation organized to let them what they should know about this noble institution which end of semester exams is not exempted.
I’m not using this opportunity to criticize you but rather to draw your attention on the fact that the end of semester examination is about to start. It is time for we the students of KTU to give an account for the main reason why we are here and what we have been taught throughout the semester.
Aside the partying here and there. Aside the crushing and falling in Love.
Aside the having of new friends. Aside the church activities which all sums up to be campus life.
There is a reason why we are here and most of us just noticed it as soon as we heard the end of semester examination bell ringing.
The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step, it is not too late at all, let’s get up and prepare well.
The most painful thing to experience is not defeat but regret. If you do not prepare well for the end of semester examination, trust you me, you will have a song of regret. It is not going to be easy but it will worth it. We can’t afford to disappoint our parents or guardian better still our future.
MAHATMA GHANDI ones said; “You may not know what result may come out of your action,but if you do nothing there will be no result”.
Let’s relate this to our preparation before and during exams, at least F can be changed to D which qualifies you of not writing resit. B+ can be changed to A. GPA of 1.5 can be changed to 1.6 which gives you another opportunity to still be on campus or better still prevents you from been rusticated. There is just a thin line between Success and Failure.
Success is a sum of efforts repeated day in and day out
