Koforidua Technical University male soccer team has been crowned champions of this year’s Ghana Technical Universities Sports Association games.
The impossible has been made possible after a long run of hard training sessions, the hard work has paid off and God being so good, the male soccer team of Koforidua Technical University are the new champions.
KTU came face to face with Takoradi Technical University, and in a game that saw the 90 minutes end in a one-all tie, the penalty kicks decided who was to be crowned champion.
The Accra sports stadium recorded a keen contest in the penalty shoot out, but at the end the boys from the east – Koforidua Technical University – beat the boys from the west – Takoradi Technical University.
Present were students who came in their numbers to support both sides, SRC executives, The Vice Chancellor and the Pro Vice Chancellor all from Koforidua Technical University.
