Taste Ghana Fiesta, an event created by KTU Radio, a campus radio station, in consultation with G-way TDC Ventures, an indigenous Ghanaian multi-lateral venture, will have its maiden edition in March.
The event will be attracting all the levels of the Ghanaian social strata and serve as a model and demonstrate the rich Ghanaian culture through costumes, cuisines and its accompanying beverages, music and dance.
Taste Ghana Fiesta is made up of different sessions including a Fashion Walkway (fashion-and-modeling sessions which will exhibit designs made from local prints by local designers), Tasty Treats (display of a variety of delicious Ghanaian dishes and drinks), and Music and Local Boogie Revelation (music and dance performances from acclaimed music artists and performers selected from different Ghanaian Music and artistic genres).
According to Mr. Godsway K. Agbodo (Head of KTU Radio), Taste Ghana is a one day program slated for 9th March, 2019. “The program is a day’s program with a trip to Boti falls on the 6th March, 2019, and the main event will take place on the 9th of March, 2019,” He said
He further added that, the Fiesta is designed to influence positively, the mindset of Ghanaians and foreigners on the use of made in Ghana clothing, and also appreciate the traditional Ghanaian cuisines and its accompanying beverages.
Taste Ghana 2019 will take place in Koforidua Technical University, in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
