KTU Radio presenter Yaa Ohenewaa Asamoah reports for Joy FM/JoyNews TV on election day
KTU Radio female brodacast journalist, Benedicta Yaa Ohenewaa Asamoah (well known as Yaa Dicta) will join a team of reporters covering the 2024 election for Joy FM and Joy News television ‘Election Headquarters’.
Yaa Ohenewaa will serve as the correspondent for the New Juaben North Constituency of the Eastern Region.
She has already received training on election reporting from the Ghana Journalists Association and Multimedia Group Limited.
Yaa is a committed volunteer journalist at Koforidua Technical University FM station. She is a dynamic reporter and
has diverse experience hosting different shows on the campus radio station including the morning show ‘Morning Rush’, midmorning ‘Brunch Time’ show, the drive time show, ‘The Hangout’ and, news and analysis programme ‘The Front Page’.
Yaa is also a voiceover actor, media trainer and a master of ceremonies (MC).
Her stint as a reporter for Joy FM/ Joy News stems from a media partnership agreement between the University radio and Multimedia Group Limited.
The partnership agreement covers rebroadcast of Joy FM /Joy News content, capacity building workshops for student journalists and promotion of content about the University on Multimedia radio and TV stations, among others.
