“My love for music was crafted when my father, a military used to play music on his gramophone on Saturdays. It was a great time for my siblings and me on such days”.
Later at age ten, He had the opportunity to learn how to play the Piano with the Staff for close to a year with a senior sibling and cousin. Unfortunately for him, he lost much of that skill because they didn’t own a keyboard. He can still read music staff, however.
While in University, he learnt to play a little of Contemporary Style Keyboard and Acoustic Guitar in Key C., In fact, that’s all he can play because he sings comfortably in Key C.
“My first composition was way back in 1994 or 1995 thereabout. It was a funny song anyway. Later, I got a song
while in the laboratory during my postgraduate studies and that was in 2007”.“Singing in groups has been my main opportunity to minister through music in church.
As a Presbyterian, I was in the Church choir and later switched to the praise and adoration team called Calvary Chorale. I am currently in a group called Shachah Outreach Ministry”.
This current single was composed in 2014 however he had no intention of recording a song then. He decided to record it finally because he ventured into a Music studio partnership and had Access to a studio. So this was recorded in their studio, 3G Music Studio.
KAK Music, coming from my name’s initials, is a concept of reaching out Christ to the World through music. Some of the songs I have composed would be sung in future by other musicians.
I don’t dream of becoming an artist really but who knows. I’m just following my Master Jesus’ leadings.
