In what will be described as a fierce contest, the 2019 Commonwealth Inter Tertiary Debate and Quiz Competition which saw various Students Parliament in the tertiary institutions coming together has successfully ended for some institutions.
The annual event which is organized by the Westminster Foundation for Democracy and Parliament of Ghana ended with participants of the Koforidua Technical University overriding their counterparts from the Presbyterian University College for the Eastern Zone.
It was all joy, seeing participants from Koforidua Technical University’s Students Parliament, led by their speaker, Rt. Hon. Eric Samdora Ayeh, jubilate after emerging as winners of the competition.
The director for Westminster Foundation, Dr Ekow Appiah and the representative from the Parliament of Ghana at it’s Public Affairs Director, Mr Isaac Kwame Ansah respectively acknowledged the efforts of both Student Parliaments, congratulated the winning team and encouraged them to strengthen their loins for the next round of the competition.
We are very proud of that, next time we will do better.
Congratulations guys
