The Ghana Education Service has announced January 5 as the new re-opening dates for all Senior High School (SHS) students.
In a press statement sighted by deinsider.com, all students are expected to report to school on Sunday, January 5, 2020, except those in form 2 and on the gold track.
“Management of the Ghana Education Service wishes to inform all Students, Staff, Parents and the general public that the SHS 3 students will re-open school on Sunday, 5th January 2020”
According to the service, the new re-opening date will afford final year students the ample time to prepare for their final exams
“This is to enable the final year students to have ample time to prepare for the 2020 West African Senior Secondary School Certificate Exams (WASSCE).
However, Form 2, Gold Track students will resume school on March 1.
