Vacancy for the Positions of Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, Director of Finance, Director of Works & Physical Development and Librarian announced on their website and print media in April 2019, invited applications from qualified and competent persons for the positions which become vacant on 1st August 2019.
The Governing Council of Koforidua Technical University (KTU) at a Special Meeting held on Wednesday, 3rd July 2019 has appointed Professor David Kofi Essumang as Vice-Chancellor of the University.
Professor David K. Essumang who is a full Professor from the University of Cape Coast is to take over from Prof (Mrs.) Smile Dzisi who was in an acting capacity as the Interim Vice-Chancellor.
Mr. Ike Joe Nii Annang Mensah-Livingstone, the Interim Registrar has also been appointed as the Registrar.
Other appointments are, Mr. Godfried Kofi Boafo, Director of Finance and Mr. Michael Owusu Acheaw, the University Librarian.
