Finally, Armageddon is here. The monitoring and evaluation committee has officially released the long awaited report to the general public.
The five member committee is chaired by Mclutterodt Tawiah, and four others, namely;Francisca Pomah Kissiedu (Vice Chair), Solomon Twum Agyei (SECRETARY), Boakye-Yiadom Emmanuel (P.R.O), and Belinda Sappor (MEMBER). Who came together to compile a detailed report on the Akwaaba week celebration in 2018.
According to the P.R.O, Emmanuel Boakye-Yiadom, the report which took them over two months to release after compilation, is an account of the 2018 SRC Akwaaba Week Celebration. Adding that the main reason behind commissioning the Akwaaba report was to monitor the week-long celebration, prepare and submit a detailed postmortem report to the SRC General Assembly.
Ktuinsider.com, has a copy of the report which alleges that some offices have misappropriated huge sums of money which could have been of better benefit to the SRC.
Reports also indicate that the M&E report will be submitted to the general assembly for further enquiries to be made on Friday, 15th February, 2019.
However, though there are negatives, this is the first time SRC has made two steps further to fight corruption and protect the students coffers and we must commend them for that.
