The New Juaben North Municipal Assembly, (NJNMA) has presented four (4) boxes,
constituting four hundred pieces of LED Electric Bulbs, to the Koforidua Technical
University (KTU), as part of its corporate social responsibility.
At a brief ceremony held on Friday, 15th October, 2021, to hand over the items to the Head of
Estate on behalf of the NJNMA, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. David Kofi Essumang, mentioned
that the Assembly had earlier supported the University with over two hundred bags of cement
to aid its Hospital project.
Prof Essumang and the Head of the estate, Mrs. Clare Owusu, expressed gratitude to the
Assembly for its diverse support and pledged that, the donation would be used judiciously for
the benefit of University.
The vice-chancellor received the donation and this was what he said,
“This morning, we got a donation of electric bulbs from the New Juaben North Municipal Assembly. They have given us four (4) boxes of led bulbs to support the work we do at the university. What we want to say is that we are so appreciating to what they have done for us. In fact, New Juaben North have been supporting us ever since I came here as a vice chancellor. When we were doing the hospital, they donated over two hundred (200) bags of cement to support us. Today we are here receiving about four hundred (400) bulbs from them to support the work we do at the university. We want to tell them that we are so much grateful for whatever they are doing for us and we will always work with them to make sure that the school get to where it supposed to be and also support the New Juaben area. at this moment, on behalf of Municipal Assembly, I am presenting this bulb to the head of estate so that she can use this to support the work we do here.
So here you are, these are for you to support the work we do.
