The Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection, Honourable Sarah Adwoa Safo Tuesday said the contract of the National School Feeding Programme Coordinator, Mrs Gertrude Quashigah has been terminated.
A letter from the Gender Minister sighted by Educationweb.com.gh said “We appreciate your support towards execution of the mandate of the Ghana School Feeding Programme during this period.”
Mrs. Gertrude Quashigah took over the administration of the Feeding Programme in March 2020 after the dismissal of Dr Kwame Adu-Nsiah.
It currently unclear what lead to the dismissal of the formal School Feeding Coordinator but she has been asked to hand over any official documents or property in her custody to the Chief Director of the Gender Ministry.
