The National President of the Ghana National Association of Teachers Philipa Larsen has fired back at GES, daring the service to sack them and face their wrath.
Philipa Larsen says teachers are not scared by the treats is dismissal be sacked due to the strike action decision. She warned that the government is not doing them a favour.
Mr Sowah can’t talk to us like that. When situations happen, the manner at which it is solved matters. The government should not think they are doing us a favour. We demand that Mr Sowah retracts his comments.
The council of GES head, Mr Michael Sowah threatened teachers with dismissal if they refuse to call off the strike.
Ms Larsen says the comments are disrespectful and is demanding an apology.
