The Ghana Education service has announced November 12, 2019 as the new re-opening date for the second year Gold track students in Senior High School.
According to the GES, the decision on the new re-opening date was agreed at a joint meeting between the management of GES and the Conference of Heads of Assisted Senior High Schools (CHASS).
A statement signed by the Head of Public Relations Unit at the Ghana Education Service explained that the postponement of re-opening date would enable all stakeholders involved including students to adequately prepare for the opening of the new academic year.
“Management of Ghana Education service (GES) announces for the information of the general public that the new date for the re-opening for the 2nd year Gold Track is 12th November 2019 as against the previously announced date for 15th October 2019.”

The GES apologized for the inconveniences caused, and also called on all staff, students and the general public to take note of the new changes in the dates.
“All staff and students and the general public are to take note of this new development. Managment apologizes for the inconvenience created,” the statement added.
